Ruined Buildings.

This was to show a way to build ruins quickly with limited resources. My book series had many structures all of which were broken down in some way.

Over years I had collected large amounts of old Lego and even more of the cheap knockoff stuff. It occurred to me that it all would make great base structures for different models.

I could build a basic building structure, break it down a bit then add a lot of detail over the top of it. When painted they can have pretty good results and only take a day or so to build.

I made many of these and had them in small environments as part of the graphic stories.
